
Chris Bernard
Chris Bernard is an English film director, producer, writer and occasional actor. Born in Liverpool, Bernard started his professional career in the theatre, before moving to cinema and television. He has directed eight films since his acclaimed debut, Letter to Brezhnev, in 1985, including films for BBC Television's prestigious Screen Two and ScreenPlay strands. He has also directed several episodes of TV shows such as Brookside, Making Out, The Locksmith, Preston Front, And The Beat Goes On, Brum, and My Parents Are Aliens. He is the co-patron, with Sir Derek Jacobi KBE and Thomas Lang, of the Outsiders Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, Liverpool UK.
