Anna O'Brian
Anna O’Brian (born January 23, 1993) is the director of Disney’s “Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation,” a brand-new animated comedy from the creators of Disney Channel’s hit series “Big City Greens.”
O’Brian is an Emmy®-nominated writer and artist. For more than 10 years, she has worked as a writer, storyboard artist and character designer on many highly acclaimed shows, including “We Bare Bears” at Cartoon Network, “Harvey Beaks” at Nickelodeon and “Amphibia” at Walt Disney Television Animation. In 2016, she was hired as a storyboard artist on the first season of “Big City Greens” before eventually becoming a director on the series for seasons two and three. In 2020, Anna was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for writing on the series.
O’Brian attended the University of Florida and later transferred to CalArts to study animation, where her film “Good Morning” was accepted into the 2013 CalArts Producers Show. She lives in Burbank with her cat Square.
