Daniel Lieff

Daniel Lieff is a Brazilian director who graduated in Economics from the University of São Paulo (USP). He began his career in 1999 as an assistant director and worked with major production companies, such as O2 Filmes, as well as on various productions and advertising campaigns. As a director, he made his debut with the documentary Deus e o Diabo em Cima da Muralha, which won an award at the São Paulo International Film Festival. He also co-directed the official documentary of the 2016 Rio Olympics and worked on series such as Um Contra Todos, which was nominated for an International Emmy Award. In film and television, he directed the feature film Alice & Só, the series Vale dos Esquecidos, episodes of Amar é para os Fortes and Últimas Férias. In 2025, he directed the series Tremembé for Prime Video.
